"Stayed here as a last-minute getaway. The cottage was lovely and supplied everything that you need, from towels to loo roll, even a dishwasher! It is self-catering, but there are plenty of places that deliver food. The views are stunning. We do not fish, but there is a fishing lake with a fishing shop for everything that you need. It is a great place to stay as Torquay is 5 miles away, and lots of other beaches too. There is a zoo 3 miles away. There is plenty to do and see. Will definitely come back."

"From an angling view, it's lovely. We found the centre by chance and only fished the specimen lake. The owner and the two bailiffs, Sam and Rob, were more than helpful and approachable. Being a specimen lake, the fishing wasn't the easiest, but two stunning common carp of 14 and 19lbs really made it worthwhile. We will definitely make the journey again."
